OREGON WINTER

Willamette Week’s seasonal print publication Oregon Winter has become has become an indispensable guide to surviving and thriving throughout the formidable Pacific Northwest winter.

As editor of the latest edition of the magazine, I was responsible for developing the overall concept, managing assignments and editing. My theme was Weather the Storm. It’s divided into three sections on how to Frolic, Flee and Feast your way through the darkest months of the year.

I also got to write about two of my favorite places in Oregon: Astoria and the Hoodoo Ski Area.
